Based on the Maltese SEC History syllabus, Let’s Do History provides a useful tool for students taking History as an optional subject at Secondary School level. The chronological thread will simplify the thrilling journey to reveal the political events, cultural breakthroughs and the social life of the past 500 years – from the Renaissance to the twentieth century. The numerous primary sources, maps and timelines accompanying the text allow for further insights into the past. The proposed activities are designed to sharpen the readers’ analytical skills by means of discussions, besides improving their general knowledge through reading, music, cooking and visiting the places suggested in the activity lists.
